Gabriel Manfred

Prof. Gabriel Manfred holds the position of Assistant Professor at the Department of Sociology and Human Geography within the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Salzburg. He has been employed at the university since 1986 and currently serves as Chair of the Works Council for Academic University Staff and Deputy State Chairman of the university union for scientific and artistic staff. His research focuses on sociological theory, social science theory, history of theory, and transdisciplinary cultural studies.
