Frode Helland is a Professor of Scandinavian Literature at the University of Oslo (since 2004) and Dean of Humanities (2019–present). He previously chaired the Department of Scandinavian Studies and Comparative Literature at NTNU (2002–2004) and directed the Centre for Ibsen Studies (2005–2011, 2012–2018).
