Fredrick Webb

Fredrick Webb is an Assistant Professor in the Social Work Program at Arkansas State University's College of Nursing & Health Professions. He holds a Master of Social Work from Arkansas State University and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff, where he now pursues his Ph.D. in Social Work at Jackson State University.

• Research Focus: African-American Families/Males, Diversity Issues, and the impact of perceived racism on academic persistence for African-American male students
• Teaching Areas: Social Welfare Policy, Social Problems, Rural Social Work Policy Analysis
• Professional Engagement: Presenter at Council on Social Work Education conferences and Jackson State University events

Community Involvement:

• Volunteer with Visual Performance Arts Elementary School and Community Clean Up initiatives
• Active member of the Association of Arkansas State University Black Social Workers, Jonesboro Community Social Work Board, and National Association of Black Social Workers
