Fred Greene

Fred Greene is a Lecturer in the Conservatory of Music at Chapman University's College of Performing Arts, specializing in the Tuba, Woodwinds & Brass Program. He is a prominent freelance tubist based in Los Angeles, with extensive experience performing with major orchestras including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, Pacific Symphony, Long Beach Symphony, Santa Barbara Symphony, and San Diego Symphony. His professional engagements also include pit orchestras for renowned dance companies such as the Joffrey Ballet, American Ballet Theater, Royal Ballet of England, Kirov Ballet, and Bolshoi Ballet. Additionally, he has contributed to over 100 film soundtracks through studio recordings in Los Angeles.

Greene maintains an active presence in the music industry, having recorded for TV shows, commercials, and jingles. He resides in Garden Grove, California, near the Chapman campus, with his wife Ana-Maria and children Joseph and Michelle.
