Fraser Dougan

Fraser Dougan is a Lecturer specializing in Serious Games and the Year 1 lead for the BSc Immersive System Design program. With over a decade of lecturing experience, he combines backgrounds in design, manufacturing, and visualization to explore immersive technologies' educational applications, particularly in STEM. He directs the MSc Serious Games & Virtual Reality and MSc Heritage Visualisation programs, and his work aligns with initiatives like the Digital Health & Care Institute and Highlands and Islands Enterprise.

His research focuses on leveraging serious games and immersive systems to enhance learning outcomes, with projects including Serious Game Design. Fraser’s expertise bridges traditional design disciplines with cutting-edge digital tools, aiming to innovate education through technology.
