Frank Somer

Dr. Frank Somer is a Professor at the School of Arts & Sciences, Columbia College, where he has taught since 2003. He holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Tennessee and a B.S. in Chemistry from Oglethorpe University.

Notable Experiences: Conducted postdoctoral research at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Georgia Tech. Taught courses in chemistry, physics, and astronomy at St. John’s University and Columbia College.
