Francesca Manzi

Dr. Francesca Manzi is an Assistant Professor of Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Department of Management. She holds a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from New York University and completed postdoctoral research at Utrecht University. Her expertise spans Gender Studies, Bias and Discrimination, Leadership, and Experimental Design. She has published in top-tier journals such as Journal of Personality and Social Psychology and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, with media coverage in Forbes and The Washington Post.

Dr. Manzi’s research focuses on gender-based beliefs and discrimination in organizations, employing experimental, field, and big data methods. She has advised numerous students on theses addressing gender stereotypes, leadership, and workplace dynamics. Her work has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Dean’s Dissertation Fellowship and Friends of Katzell Summer Fellowship.

Her teaching includes courses on People Analytics, Research Methods in Social Psychology, and Statistics for Behavioral Sciences.
