Dame Frances M. Ashcroft is a Royal Society GlaxoSmithKline Research Professor at the University Laboratory of Physiology, University of Oxford, and a Fellow of Trinity College, Oxford. She served as Director of the Oxford Centre for Gene Function and focuses on the molecular mechanisms underlying diabetes.
