Franca Raffaella

Raffaella Franca is a Fixed-Term Researcher in Pharmacology at the University of Trieste (UNITS) and a member of the Boards of Studies for the Medical Biotechnology program (ME02). She is actively involved in biomedical research projects focusing on drug resistance, host defence peptides, and microbiota interactions.

Her work contributes to understanding how anticancer and immunosuppressant drugs affect intestinal microbiota in pediatric patients, as highlighted in her 2020 publication.
