Florian Scheuring

Florian Scheuring is an Assistant Professor in the Marketing & Operations department at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, within the School of Social Sciences. He joined the university in 2021 and holds leadership roles including Programme Director for the MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Academic Quality Lead for his department. He represents his school at Senate and leads strategic program redesign initiatives.

His work spans supply chain challenges, experiential learning in higher education, esports tourism, and intercultural workplace dynamics, indicating a strong focus on practical and socially impactful research.

Florian actively contributes to academic and professional communities through invited talks, conference participation, and network memberships, including the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply. He serves as an External Examiner and is involved in collaborative educational initiatives such as the Kuehne Foundation’s program in Nigeria.
