Fernando Uribe-Romo

Fernando Uribe-Romo is Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Central Florida's College of Sciences. He directs research on framework materials for energy applications through the Reticular Synthesis and Materials Design Lab.

Research Focus: Designs metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent-organic frameworks (COFs) for photocatalysis, ionic conductivity, and energy conversion. His group combines synthetic chemistry, materials characterization, and computational design to develop materials with tailored photophysical and electrochemical properties.
