Fernanda Psihas

Dr. Fernanda Psihas is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science & Physics at Franciscan University. Her work bridges physics, computer science, theology, and philosophy, with a focus on integrating Catholic teaching into scientific discourse. She holds a PhD in Physics from Indiana University Bloomington (2018), an M.S. in Physics from the University of Minnesota Duluth (2013), and a B.S. in Engineering Physics from Universidad IberoAmericana, Mexico City (2011). She completed a faith/science program at the McGrath Institute for Church Life, University of Notre Dame (2022).

Dr. Psihas engages in public speaking to address science-faith dialogue as part of her ministry.
