Professor Felix Noth holds dual appointments as a Professor of Banking and Financial Systems at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg and as Deputy Head of the Financial Markets Department at the Leibniz Institute for Economic Research Halle (IWH). His research focuses on financial stability, banking regulation, and the impact of natural disasters on financial systems. He earned his PhD in Finance from Goethe University Frankfurt and previously served as a postdoc there before joining IWH in 2014.
