Felix Camacho

CPT Felix Camacho serves as a Lecturer in the American History Division at the United States Military Academy (USMA). He earned a BIS in International Relations and Conflict Management (2016), an MPS in Political Management (2019), and an MA in History (2025), all from George Mason University and George Washington University.

His research interests focus on the U.S. Civil War and Reconstruction, Buffalo Soldier Regiments, the Progressive Era, and the historical analysis of African American Regular Army Line Officers (1889–1936).

Camacho has held diverse military roles, including Platoon Leader/Tactical Control Officer, Battery Commander of A-4 ADA (THAAD), and positions in Air Defense Operations. He has been deployed to Afghanistan, Kuwait, South Korea, and Qatar.
