Feixiong Liao is a tenured Assistant Professor in Urban Planning and Transportation at Eindhoven University of Technology. He serves as Education Coordinator for the USRE Unit and holds affiliations with EAISI Mobility. His research focuses on developing large-scale urban transportation planning models.
Education includes a doctorate degree (cum laude) from TU/e, where he developed multi-state supernetwork approaches for metropolitan accessibility. Post-doctoral research involved international collaborations on travel behavior analysis.
Research interests center on network modeling for mobility demand, accessibility measurement in urban contexts, behavior analysis with bounded rationality, service innovation for mobility issues, and sustainability in mobility-energy-social nexuses.
