Fay W. Boozman

Fay W. Boozman is a faculty member at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Public Health, contributing to the PRIMROSE project. This initiative addresses Arkansas' high rates of maternal mortality and pre-term births through interdisciplinary collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and public health informatics. Her work includes expanding access to group prenatal care, emergency preparedness training, and developing the Arkansas Maternal Health Scorecard.

Research Interests focus on improving maternal health outcomes via policy innovation, community-based interventions, and data-driven public health strategies. The PRIMROSE project emphasizes partnerships with state agencies, hospitals, and community organizations to enhance perinatal safety and reduce disparities.
