Fangyi Li is a PhD researcher at Edinburgh Law School, specializing in transitional justice and international law. Her work focuses on global-local frictions in post-conflict justice in Cambodia and Timor-Leste, with a particular emphasis on victims' rights and regional particularism.

Her research spans international criminal law, international humanitarian law, and the legal frameworks governing the use of force in armed conflicts.
