Fadel Alsawayfa, EdD, is an Assistant Professor at Bethlehem University in the Department of Early Childhood Education within the Faculty of Education. He is also a visiting scholar at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Society and Culture at Concordia University. His work bridges pedagogy, poetry, drama, and self-reflexive research methodologies.
- Education: Doctorate in Education (University of Chester, 2019); MA in Comparative Education (University of London); BA in English Language and Literature (Hebron University).
Research interests include creative pedagogies, found poetry, drama in education, narrative inquiry, and autoethnography. He advocates for arts-based research as a tool for social justice and qualitative exploration. His forthcoming book with Brill Sense Press, The Road to Found Poetry, extends his doctoral thesis on using poetic forms for data analysis and dissemination.
Recent publications focus on educational policy in Palestine, drama-based teaching, and arts-integrated research methodologies. He has received multiple awards, including the HESPAL Scholarship (2015) and the British Council Creative Teacher's Award (2007).
