Professor Fabrice Barlesi is a leading specialist in lung cancer, precision medicine, and cancer immunology. Currently serving as the General Director of Gustave Roussy since August 2021 and Professor of Medicine at Paris Saclay University, he has pioneered research in innovative oncological therapies and resistance to immunotherapy (anti-PD1/L1). His career spans leadership roles in clinical research, including founding the Marseille Centre for Early Trials in Oncology (CLIP2) and co-founding the Marseille Immunopôle, a French immunology cluster.
