Eva Rozalia Hölzle is a Researcher at Bielefeld University and a research partner of the Max Planck Research Group "Ageing in a Time of Mobility" (2017-2025). Her work explores the dynamics of ageing in contexts of human mobility and translocal kin relations.
Her primary research areas are Anthropology, Ageing Studies, Ethics, Migration Studies, South Asian Studies, and Kinship Studies. She is currently leading a project funded by the Fritz-Thyssen Foundation: "Cultivating Ethics across Generations: Translocal Dynamics of Kin Relations in Bangladesh and Northeast-India". This project investigates how ethical frameworks are cultivated across generations within translocal kin networks in Bangladesh and Northeast India.
Dr. Hölzle's research contributes to understanding the social and ethical dimensions of ageing in mobile societies, particularly in South Asia. She is an active member of the Max Planck Research Group, which fosters interdisciplinary collaboration on ageing and mobility.
