Eva Maria Froschauer

Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Eva Maria Froschauer holds the Chair of Building History and Architectural Theory at Berlin University of Technology (TU Berlin), leading the Laboratory for Architectural History and Building Preservation. Her work focuses on architectural history, theory, and the intersection of cultural and technical values in built environments. She has led key projects like the DFG Research Training Group 1913 'Cultural and Technical Values of Historic Buildings' (2017–2023) and the Seoul-Berlin Urban Strategies comparative study (2019–2021).

Her research explores topics such as 'continuing construction' theories, architectural media, and the role of collecting in design.
