Eva Kirner

Eva Kirner is a Professor at the HFU Business School of Hochschule Furtwangen University since 2010, based at the Schwenningen campus (Room F 2.06) with office hours on Thursdays from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm by appointment.

Professor Kirner specializes in innovation ecosystems with focus on strategic measurement frameworks, SME adaptation to digital disruption, and organizational restructuring dynamics. Her work bridges theoretical models with practical implementation challenges in evolving business landscapes, emphasizing empirical validation of innovation metrics.

Prior to her academic role, she served as Business Field Leader and Project Manager at Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (ISI) in Karlsruhe from 2000 to 2010, directing applied research initiatives.
