Eva Ageberg

Eva Ageberg is a Professor at Lund University's Faculty of Medicine, holding dual appointments in Sport Sciences and EpiHealth: Epidemiology for Health. She serves as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and is a member of the LU Profile Area: Proactive Ageing. As head of the Sport Sciences research group, she leads a team focused on interdisciplinary research in sports medicine and injury prevention.

Her research focuses on the prevention and management of sports and exercise-related injuries, examining both physical and psychological aspects of injury recovery from a lifespan perspective. Key areas include developing clinically feasible outcome measures, assessing muscle function's protective role against injuries, and implementing evidence-based interventions.
