May Arna Godaker Risberg

May Arna Godaker Risberg is a Professor in the Department of Sports Medicine at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences. Her research focuses on knee and hip osteoarthritis, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries, and the efficacy of exercise therapy versus surgical interventions. She leads and contributes to large-scale clinical trials, including the Delaware-Oslo ACL Cohort Study and the AktivA Quality Register, with an emphasis on long-term patient outcomes and cost-effectiveness of treatments.
