Ethan Halm, MD, MPH, MBA is a Professor of Medicine and the inaugural Vice Chancellor for Population Health at Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS). He also serves as Deputy Chief Population Health Officer for RWJBarnabas Health System, New Jersey's leading academic health network. His roles span research, education, and clinical care integration across Rutgers' medical, public health, nursing, pharmacy, dentistry, and graduate programs.
He previously led the Division of General Internal Medicine and directed the Outcomes and Health Services Research program at UT Southwestern Medical Center. His expertise includes health system optimization, patient/provider dynamics, and predictive analytics for adverse outcome mitigation. Funding sources include NIH, AHRQ, and RWJ Foundation grants.
