Esther Oluffa Pedersen

Esther Oluffa Pedersen is an Associate Professor at the Department of Communication and Arts at Roskilde University, Denmark. Her research focuses on trust dynamics in digital societies, philosophical anthropology, and aesthetic culture. She leads the DIS-TRUST project examining trust transformations in digitally mediated social life.

Active in public philosophy debates, she has contributed to media discussions on topics ranging from Kantian ethics to modern societal challenges.

Current projects include DIS-TRUST (VELUX Fond grant 2024-2027) and collaborations on social metabolism studies. She has supervised 3 funded research projects and maintains international academic collaborations.
