Eryn Linnae Pierdolla is an Associate Professor of Instruction in the Department of Agricultural Sciences at Texas State University, College of Science and Engineering. She joined the university in Spring 2019 after a career as a high school science teacher. Her academic background includes a B.S. and M.S. in Poultry Science from Texas A&M University (2007, 2009) and an Ed.D. in Agricultural Education from Texas Tech University (2022).
Research & Teaching: Dr. Pierdolla specializes in agricultural education and animal science, with teaching interests spanning all areas of animal agriculture and agricultural education. Her research focuses on teacher motivation in agricultural education and poultry science topics like feed efficiency and disease prevention. She currently teaches courses such as AGSC 1110 (Careers in Agriculture), AGSC 1445 (Basic Animal Science), and AGSC 4328 (Advanced Animal Science: Poultry & Swine).
