Erika Helgeson

Erika Helgeson is an Associate Professor in the Division of Biostatistics & Health Data Science at the University of Minnesota. She serves as Associate Director for Coordinating Centers for Biometric Research, contributing to clinical trials and epidemiological study design, management, and analysis.

• PhD in Biostatistics (University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, 2017)
• BS in Mathematics and Biology (Gonzaga University, 2012)

Her research focuses on:

• Oral health, lung health, and transplantation studies
• Risk prediction modeling
• Statistical machine learning for high-dimensional data
