Erica Hansen

Erica Hansen is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Arizona. She previously worked in New Zealand as a clinical audiologist and trainer for a hearing aid manufacturer, and taught at Northern Arizona University. Her clinical experience spans private practice, ENT clinics, and hospital settings.

Education: Earned a Bachelor's in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Arizona and a Doctorate in Audiology from Central Michigan University.

Research Interests: Focuses on clinical audiology, implantable hearing devices, and hearing aid technology. Engages in humanitarian audiology through volunteer missions to Panama, Fiji, and Mexico, merging clinical practice with global health advocacy.

Teaching & Service: Teaches clinical audiology courses (SLHS 559, SLHS 587G) at the University of Arizona. Holds certifications as an Audiologist (CCC-A, F-AAA) and is licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services.
