Eric Weisbrod

Eric Weisbrod is an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting at the School of Business, University of Kansas. He holds a Ph.D. from Arizona State University (2012) and a B.A. in Economics–Accounting from Claremont McKenna College (2005), and is a licensed CPA (inactive) in California.

Weisbrod’s research focuses on financial reporting, taxation, market reactions to disclosures, and information processing delays in financial data. His work explores how tax avoidance and audit engagements affect client behavior and market efficiency, as well as the valuation implications of financial disclosures.
