Eric Sperry

Eric Sperry is an Adjunct Professor of Music at Lakeland University, serving as Jazz Ensemble Director and teaching brass, music entrepreneurship, and instrumental methods. He also teaches at the Lakeland University Summer Music Camp. With a Master of Music from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Sperry has 15 years of experience in the Milwaukee music scene. His roles include performing with groups like Groove Therapy, Orquesta Veneno, and North Point Brass, alongside artists such as Sheila E. and Chris Vadala. He maintains a private studio of 40 students.

Sperry’s responsibilities include directing the jazz ensemble, teaching brass lessons, and curriculum development in music entrepreneurship. His performances span diverse genres, including jazz, orchestral, and theatrical collaborations. He actively contributes to the Milwaukee music community through ensembles and educational initiatives.
