Dr. Eric Kerr is a Senior Lecturer at the National University of Singapore (NUS), holding dual roles as Director of Residential Life at Tembusu College and Research Fellow in the Science, Technology and Society (STS) cluster at the Asia Research Institute (ARI). He earned an LLB from the University of Aberdeen and a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Edinburgh. His research focuses on social epistemology, the sociology of engineering, and digital culture, with notable projects including ethnographic studies of petroleum engineers and VR collaborations with artists. He serves as Editor-in-Chief of Social Epistemology and holds editorial roles in STS book series and journals.
