Eric Heinze

Eric Heinze is a Professor of International and Area Studies and Interim Associate Dean at the David L. Boren College of International Studies, University of Oklahoma. Holding the prestigious Max & Heidi Berry Chair of International Studies, he specializes in the ethical and legal dimensions of international relations, with particular emphasis on armed conflict, human rights, and genocide prevention.

His recent publications analyze limited warfare, reprisals in armed conflict, and the role of international norms in preventing mass atrocities.
