Eric Bloch is a Professor at the Department of Chemistry of Indiana University Bloomington. His research focuses on the design, synthesis, and characterization of porous molecular materials and porous salts for applications in energy storage and human health.
He was born in 1983 in Brownsville, Wisconsin, and earned his B.S. in Chemistry from UW-Milwaukee (2008) and Ph.D. from UC Berkeley (2014). After postdoctoral work at Harvard University, he joined the University of Delaware faculty in 2016 before moving to Indiana University in 2023.
