Xingchen Ye is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Indiana University Bloomington. He joined the faculty in January 2017 after completing postdoctoral work at UC Berkeley and a PhD at the University of Pennsylvania.

The Ye Group focuses on precision synthesis of colloidal nanocrystals and their integration into mesoscale assemblies for energy conversion applications. Their research also extends to in-situ multimodal imaging of nanoscale dynamics and materials transformation.
