Eric Biron

Eric Biron is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Laval University, where he leads research in medicinal and organic chemistry with a focus on peptidomimetics and therapeutic development. His work bridges synthetic chemistry and biological applications in oncology and infectious diseases.

He aims to develop novel therapeutics by mimicking bioactive peptides and disrupting key biomolecular interactions in disease pathways.

The recent publications reflect a strong focus on synthetic methodologies for peptidomimetics, combinatorial library development, and structural optimization of bioactive molecules. His work emphasizes innovative strategies to enhance stability, bioavailability, and target selectivity of peptide-inspired therapeutics.
