Dr. Eren Arbatli is an Associate Professor of Economics at Durham University Business School since 2023. Previously, he held an Associate Professor position at HSE University and earned his PhD from Brown University under Prof. Oded Galor. His research focuses on long-run development, political economy, and cultural economics, with affiliations to the Households in Conflict Network (HiCN) and the Association for Analytical Learning about Islam and Muslim Societies (AALIMS).

Research interests span Development Economics, Political Economy, and Cultural Economics.
