Dr. Enrico Castillo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, Los Angeles, based in the Center for Social Medicine. As an academic community psychiatrist and health services researcher, he focuses on enhancing public systems to address health inequities through community-government-academic partnerships.
His expertise spans health equity, structural competency, and social medicine, with concentrated work on homelessness and housing policy, incarceration, and serious mental illness.
