Emre Avunduk

Emre Avunduk is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mining Engineering, Faculty of Mines, Istanbul Technical University (ITU). He holds a PhD in Mining Engineering from ITU (2011–2018) and has academic and professional experience spanning over a decade in excavation mechanics, rock mechanics, and soil conditioning. His research focuses on optimizing tunneling and mining technologies, particularly involving TBM performance analysis, soil conditioning, and cutting tool efficiency.
