Prof. Deniz Tumac is a Professor in the Department of Mining Engineering at Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Faculty of Mines. His research focuses on Excavation Mechanics, Rock Mechanics, and Fortification, with expertise in TBM performance prediction, natural stone processing, and geotechnical analysis. He holds a PhD in Mining Engineering from ITU (2010) and has extensive experience in both academic and applied research.
