Emmanuel Tetteh

Prof. Emmanuel Tetteh is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management at Mercy University's School of Business. He holds adjunct roles at MCNY, Grand Canyon University, and previously taught at the College of New Rochelle (now Mercy University) and Capella University. His academic leadership roles include International Vice President of the Action Learning Action Research Association (ALARA), Ltd., organizing global congresses on participatory methodologies.

His research focuses on innovative pedagogical frameworks such as the 'Communal Photosynthesis' metaphor for security management and the IAREP model for action research. He has pioneered IoT-based policy analytic solutions and contributed to democratic governance theories in higher education. Active in UN-consulted initiatives, he bridges academic research with global social change efforts through ALARA's platforms.

Prof. Tetteh's professional experience spans 35+ years in Christian missions, nonprofit leadership, and adult education across Ghana, the UK, Caribbean, and USA. His work integrates faith-based service, community development, and systemic action research approaches to address societal challenges.

He has mentored doctoral candidates in research methods and program evaluation, emphasizing participatory action research methodologies. His international collaborations include plans to host ALARA's 2025 World Congress in Ghana with local universities.
