Emily Medlock

Dr. Emily Medlock serves as the Director of Undergraduate Programs and Student Teaching and holds the academic rank of Associate Professor in the College of Education at Lipscomb University. She oversees clinical experiences, teaches undergraduate and graduate courses, and partners with the Ayers Institute for Teacher Learning & Innovation and MNPS GEARUP as an instructional coach.

Research Interests: Focuses on clinical practice, mathematics methods, STEM education, instructional coaching, and technology integration in classrooms. Her work explores strategies for effective teaching and leadership development in educational settings.

Community Engagement: Presents at local, state, and national conferences on mathematics instruction, technology in education, and instructional strategies. Collaborates with educational organizations to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
