Emily Lau

Dr. Emily Lau serves as Senior Lecturer and Course Director for Childhood Studies (Foundation degree and BA Top up) at Canterbury Christ Church University within the School of Social Work, Education, and Teacher Education. She holds Senior Fellow status with the Higher Education Academy and teaches across Education Studies, Early Childhood modules, and the MA Education program.

Her research focuses on Early Childhood Education development frameworks, Teacher Education pedagogy, and interdisciplinary Education Studies approaches. She emphasizes curriculum innovation and professional development within higher education contexts for childhood studies practitioners.
