Emily C. Dossett

Emily C. Dossett is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, with dual appointments in the Departments of Psychiatry & the Behavioral Sciences and Obstetrics and Gynecology. She founded the Reproductive Mental Health Program at LAC+USC Medical Center, pioneering an integrated care model for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.

Her research focuses on access to reproductive mental health care, health equity, and policy innovations. As a national policy leader, she contributes to organizations like the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists' Expert Group on Maternal Mental Health and the California Maternal Mental Health Task Force. She has received multiple Teacher of the Year awards and advocates for housing equity and reintegration support for formerly incarcerated women with mental illness.
