Emily Anderson

Emily Anderson is an Adjunct Faculty member in the General Education department at Clarkson College, Omaha, NE. With an MA in English from the University of Nebraska Omaha and a background in teaching writing to diverse students, she contributes to academic and professional preparation in healthcare education. Her work spans teaching, event emceeing, and prior roles in retail and writing centers.

• Education: MA in English (University of Nebraska Omaha), BA in English & Writing (Briar Cliff University), Advanced Writing Certificate (University of Nebraska Omaha).

Her research interests focus on Writing Centers, Creative Nonfiction, and Academic Support Services. Recent publications analyze social dynamics in writing centers and educational outreach strategies. Emily has received the John J. McKenna Graduate Fellowship for Creative Nonfiction and the Writing Departmental Award. She teaches GRD 798: Essentials of Scholarly Writing.
