Emilie Ghio

Dr. Emilie Ghio is a Lecturer in Corporate and Insolvency Law at the University of Edinburgh's School of Law, serving as the Edinburgh Teaching Award Coordinator and Head of the Commercial Law Subject Area. She holds a PhD in Law from University College Cork (2018). Her research focuses on insolvency law, legal harmonization, and cross-border corporate governance, with particular emphasis on EU frameworks and socio-legal barriers to rescue cultures.
