Emil André Røyrvik is a Professor in the Department of Sociology and Political Science at NTNU. His research focuses on sociocultural anthropology, political economy, and the study of capitalism as a social system. He examines topics such as financialization, organizational cultures, and the interplay between measurement practices and societal structures. Key works include the award-winning monograph *The Allure of Capitalism* and the co-edited volume *Trangen til å telle*.
