Emebet R. Aklilu

Emebet R. Aklilu serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of San Francisco's School of Nursing and Health Professions (SONHP), teaching graduate MPH students in the ILEX course since 2021. She is an active alumna, serving on the SONHP Alumni Board while maintaining professional roles at Stanford Health Care as Chair of the Black Employee Resource Group and Bylaw Committee Chair of the Stanford Black Nurses Association.

Research focuses on restorative justice applications in care settings, generational trauma patterns, and health care leadership frameworks.
