Professor Elmar Fulda has served as President of the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts (HfMDK) since October 2018. With a career spanning decades as an opera and drama director, he previously held roles as Vice President for Artistic Practice and Professor of Music Theater at the Franz Liszt University of Music in Weimar (2005–2018). His academic work focuses on music theater, artistic leadership, and strategic management.
