Ellen Meacham

Ellen Meacham is an Adjunct Instructional Assistant Professor in the School of Journalism and New Media at the University of Mississippi. She holds a B.A. in Journalism (1990) and two M.A. degrees in Southern Studies (1990 and 2003), all from the University of Mississippi. Her research focuses on political history, Southern Studies, and the intersection of journalism with historical narratives. She has authored works analyzing Robert F. Kennedy's 1967 visit to the Mississippi Delta and broader themes in US political history.
